According to ChainCatcher, Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele has revealed part of his plan to boost El Salvador's economy, one of the biggest goals of his second term. In a speech commemorating the country's independence, Bukele said next year's budget will be self-financed and no debt will be issued to keep the government running.

Nayib Bukele said El Salvador will not even issue more debt to pay debt interest during this period, emphasizing that all payments will be made using self-financed funds.
