According to Techub News, CoinDesk reported that Howard Winklevoss, the father of Gemini's founder, donated $4 million worth of Bitcoin to Grove City College. Grove City College said this was the first time the school received a Bitcoin donation, and the donation will be used to fund new business projects in the future.

The Winklevoss brothers, founders of Gemini, said their father learned the principles of "sound money" while attending Grove City College in the 1960s and was deeply influenced by the Austrian School of Economics, a school of thought that may have also influenced Bitcoin inventor Satoshi Nakamoto. The Winklevoss brothers said that it was actually their father who introduced them to Bitcoin.
