Odaily Planet Daily News 🌍 The Linux Foundation announced the creation of the Decentralized Trust (LFDT) as an umbrella organization for the open source of the decentralized ecosystem. The foundation has attracted more than 100 members, including all members of the Hyperledger Foundation, Hedera, and 13 other new members.
As the first member of the trust, Hedera contributed its entire source code, including its famous hashgraph consensus algorithm, which will be named Project Hiero. At the same time, Hedera's source code governance will be transferred to the Linux Foundation, and the Hedera Council will continue to be responsible for the operational governance of the network.
In addition, wallet-as-a-service provider Dfns has also joined LFDT and contributed its key management system, which will be called Project Lockness. 🔐
This move marks the further openness and collaboration of the decentralized ecosystem, which is worth paying attention to! 🚀
