Elon Musk and bodyguard

At Tesla’s event, most of the guest list was carefully selected. More than 30 security guards stood guard throughout the room as Elon Musk took the stage to speak. The billionaire was always accompanied by his own bodyguards from the private security firm Foundation Security.

As he grew richer, Elon Musk isolated himself behind a team of armed bodyguards. With a fortune of more than $240 billion, the man regularly received calls and messages from fans, harassers and death threats.

Musk and his companies Tesla and SpaceX have spent millions of dollars each year on security teams. To further control, Musk even created Foundation Security, according to The New York Times.

Musk’s security team now operates like a mini-Secret Service, experts say, and he is protected like a head of state. He is accompanied by 20 security experts who study escape routes in advance or clear the road before his vehicle enters. A medical expert is also on standby.

Musk was rarely without bodyguards. They were with him even when he went to the bathroom at X, according to a 2023 lawsuit filed by former employees seeking severance pay. The threats appear to have been exaggerated.

“The probability of a madman trying to kill you is directly proportional to the number of times that madman hears your name,” he said. “They hear my name a lot, so I’m very likely to be on the kill list.”

👉 Being too rich is also miserable 😅, there is a high possibility that the next presidential term will have a must candidate 😁
