According to the latest report from Henley & Partners and New World Wealth, a wealth research company, the number of cryptocurrency millionaires in the world has surged 95% in the past year. There are currently 172,300 people in the world holding more than $1 million in crypto assets, which has doubled compared to last year. Among them, 85,400 people have become millionaires by holding Bitcoin, accounting for 49.5% of the total.

The number of billionaires has also increased, with 325 crypto billionaires with assets of more than $100 million and 28 with more than $1 billion in crypto assets. This growth is closely related to the rapid development of Bitcoin spot ETFs, which have attracted $50 billion in funds since their launch.

Bitcoin has risen 40% since the beginning of the year, and the total market value of crypto assets has increased from $1.2 trillion to $2.3 trillion. The report also pointed out that six new crypto billionaires were born in the past year, five of whom benefited from Bitcoin investment.

According to the Forbes Rich List, Binance founder Zhao Changpeng has become the richest crypto billionaire for the third consecutive year, with a net worth of $60.1 billion. The second is Tether's CFO Giancarlo Devasini, with $9.2 billion.

In addition, the "Cryptocurrency Acceptance Index" launched by Henley & Partners shows that Singapore ranks first for its friendly banking and regulatory environment, followed by Hong Kong, the UAE and the United States. $BTC
