According to ChainCatcher, Penpie said that deposits and withdrawals on Penpie are still suspended because the platform is undergoing a comprehensive audit by multiple security companies to ensure the safe resumption of operations. BlockSec, PeckShield and AstraSec have already launched audits, and Penpie is in discussions with other companies. Deposits and withdrawals are expected to resume in about two or three weeks until these audits are successfully completed. Penpie will also work with Hexagate to integrate real-time monitoring and establish an efficient and proactive response system. Penpie continues to work closely with law enforcement, security companies, partners and key members of the crypto community (including major exchanges) to track and freeze funds related to hackers.

Additionally, Penpie is taking steps to prepare a post on the Penpie Governance Forum to initiate discussion on a potential compensation plan.

According to previous news, on September 4, Penpie was hacked and a total of 11,113.6 ETH were stolen, worth about 27.34 million US dollars.
