Renowned financial advisor Suze Orman, bestselling author and host of the Women & Money podcast, recently shared her views on why everyone should own Bitcoin, while also discussing how the next generation of investors could shape the future of the cryptocurrency market.
In a recent interview with CNBC, where she once worked, Orman discussed Bitcoin. Her show, The Suze Orman Show, which ran from 2002 to 2016, was one of the channel's highest-rated finance programs.
Going against the grain of many financial experts of his time, Orman encourages people to consider investing in Bitcoin.
She shared in an interview with CNBC:
“As the younger generation earns more money and matures, bitcoin will become one of their top investment choices, and that will drive its value up.”

Optimistic but cautious view
While optimistic about owning Bitcoin in her portfolio, Orman also expressed caution, saying she only invests through Bitcoin ETFs.
“I don't think Bitcoin will become a currency or a store of value,” Orman said, “but because the younger generation is particularly interested in it — and you can feel the energy of that interest — it could eventually explode.”

She also explained that she feels more secure owning ETFs, “because I never want to see an event like FTX happen again.” Orman added that she “never understood how wallets work and if you lose your keys, you never get them back.”
However, Orman's main message is clear: “Everyone should have some exposure to Bitcoin.” However, she also warns that investors must be prepared to lose all their money, and should only invest what they can afford.
