FBI RAID THE HOME OF NEW YORK MAYOR ERIC ADAMS’ CAMPAIGN OFFICER‼️
The FBI raided the Brooklyn home of New York Mayor Eric Adams’ campaign fundraiser Brianna Suggs in connection with possible campaign finance irregularities. The investigation reportedly targeted a scheme in which money from Turkish nationals was funneled to Adams’ 2021 campaign through a Brooklyn-based construction company.
No one has been formally charged and there is no evidence that Suggs was involved in any crime. Mayor Adams expressed his confidence in Suggs and said she would continue to be involved in his 2025 re-election campaign.
Adams emphasized that he is committed to remaining transparent in his campaign activities and cooperating with authorities (Coltin, 2023; Anuta & Coltin, 2023).
