Polygon has officially switched from the MATIC token to POL
The upgrade was successful.
The main change will be that a new annual emission rate of 2% will be introduced for POL.
Half of the emission will be distributed among the network validators as a reward, and the other half will replenish the community treasury, which will finance the development of the ecosystem.
