CoinMarketCap ChatGPT Plugin Introduction

CoinMarketCap (CMC) calls its ChatGPT Plugin a "dedicated encryption analysis intern" for users. It combines ChatGPT's technology with real-time data on CMC to provide data-based insights for users' different problems. Currently, CMC Plugin can be downloaded and used in ChatGPT’s Plugin Store.

As a demonstration, CMC officials raised a number of questions to demonstrate the power of this plug-in, such as:

  1. How relevant will Bitcoin and Ethereum be in 2023?

  2. Over the past 3 election cycles, how has Bitcoin performed in the month leading up to the US election?

  3. Is Bitcoin’s price performance better during weekdays or weekends?

Taking the second question as an example, CMC Plugin can quickly provide price information at key time points and provide answers to the questions based on the data. (The last two elections have driven Bitcoin prices up by more than 10%, with only 2012 falling.)

In addition, more difficult questions can be asked, such as the performance of the Bitcoin halving cycle, the impact of token issuance methods on prices, the impact of token models on market volatility, etc., which can help users answer different questions in a short period of time. That is to say, we have a basic understanding and facilitate further integrated analysis.
