[Zurich Cantonal Bank Announces Launch of Cryptocurrency Services]
Zürcher Kantonalbank, one of the five safest banks in the world according to Global Finance magazine, announced the launch of cryptocurrency services. The bank now allows customers to trade and store Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH).
"The Cantonal Bank of Zurich now supports the purchase, sale and secure storage of Bitcoin and Ethereum," the bank announced on its X account.
Starting from September 4, 2024, Zurich Cantonal Bank customers can directly trade cryptocurrencies 24/7 via ZKB Online Banking or ZKB Mobile Banking. Bitcoin and Ethereum are currently open for trading.
