According to ChainCatcher, Treble, an Icelandic sound simulation technology startup, has completed a €11 million Series A financing round. This round of financing was led by KOMPAS VC, with participation from Frumtak Ventures, the European Investment Bank, and Omega Venture Partners. Treble plans to use the funds to expand its team, strengthen R&D, and explore new corporate customers and markets.

Treble CMO Kristjan Einarsson said the company will focus on the construction and technology industries, and expand into areas such as automobiles, games, and the metaverse to bring immersive audio experiences to virtual environments.

Treble was founded in 2020 and focuses on sound simulation technology. It has established the world's first cloud-based sound simulation platform for designing the sound of buildings, cars and technology products. It has previously completed a $5.7 million seed round of financing led by Frumtak Ventures.
