According to TechFlow, on August 27, the on-chain detective ZachXBT announced that it had successfully helped the victims of a large-scale Bitcoin theft to recover approximately $205,000. The incident initially occurred on August 19 and involved a suspicious transfer of 4,064 Bitcoins (approximately $238 million).

Firn Protocol said in a statement that they acted quickly after receiving notification from ZachXBT and successfully froze and recovered about 80 ETH deposited by the attacker. These funds have been transferred to ZachXBT, which will coordinate the return to the victims.

Earlier news, ZachXBT reported that a suspicious transfer was detected, and potential victims lost $238 million in Bitcoin. The stolen funds were transferred to multiple platforms in a short period of time, including ThorChain, eXch, Kucoin, ChangeNow, Railgun and Avalanche Bridge.
