According to TechFlow, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin tweeted that he hopes to see applications that have sustainable practicality without sacrificing core principles such as permissionlessness and decentralization. He expressed his approval of projects such as DEX, decentralized stablecoins (such as RAI), and Polymarket.

Regarding USDC, Vitalik believes that although it is not as decentralized as RAI, its convenience and wide usage have to be acknowledged.

He stressed that finance is not everything, pointing out that there are many centralized threats in today's technological world, such as political attacks on encrypted communications, centralized identity systems, and vulnerabilities in proprietary operating systems.

Vitalik believes that the cross-application of decentralized finance and other decentralized technologies will become very important, such as Farcaster's use of financial components to fight spam. He called for more support for "other decentralized technologies" because these areas are generally difficult to obtain large venture capital.
