November 15, 2020 - Bitcoin ABC forks away from BCH in order to enable the IFP, a self-funding mechanism that uses a portion of the block reward to fund development

July 1, 2021 - Launches the new eCash brand complete with a new website, a new block explorer, a new ticker, and even a new base unit to distinguish itself from other Bitcoin forks

September 14, 2022 - Activation of Avalanche post-consensus making the eCash network virtually impossible to 51% attack despite being a minority Sha256 chain

November 15, 2023 - Start of staking rewards for those running eCash staking nodes that help secure the network. First Bitcoin fork to combine proof of work and proof of stake

April 4, 2024 - Release of Bitcoin ABC 0.29.0 adds the Chronik indexer directly into the Bitcoin ABC node software, something Bitcoin developers have talked about doing but never achieved
