According to ChainCatcher, CCTV News reported that US Vice President Kamala Harris attended the Democratic National Convention in Chicago and formally accepted the Democratic presidential nomination for the 2024 US presidential election.

The 2024 US presidential election will be held in early November. Harris officially won the Democratic presidential nomination on August 5 and will face off against Republican presidential candidate and former President Donald Trump.
