Golden Finance reported that in an interview on Thursday, Stuart Alderoty, Ripple's chief legal officer, talked about the possibility of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) appealing the final ruling of Ripple's XRP case. Alderoty said: "If the U.S. SEC is a rational actor, they should get out of this case." He emphasized the court's conclusion that "there are no victims here, no one has suffered any losses in this case, and there are no allegations of fraud." He emphasized that "there is nothing in this case that advances the core mission of the U.S. SEC." However, Ripple's chief legal officer doubted the rationality of securities regulators, pointing out: "But we all know that when it comes to cryptocurrencies, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has proven itself to be not rational." He added: "In our case, the court criticized the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for engaging in litigation games and strategies instead of faithfully applying the law."
