PANews reported on August 17 that according to The Block, in the second quarter of 2024, institutional investment managers with at least $100 million in assets held $4.7 billion worth of spot Bitcoin ETFs. Among them, Goldman Sachs holds about 7 million shares of spot Bitcoin ETFs, worth $418 million; Morgan Stanley holds 5.5 million shares, worth $190 million. Millennium Management's holdings fell from $1.94 billion in the first quarter to $1.1 billion, but it is still the largest single shareholder of Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC). Citadel's holdings in the ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF tripled to 860,727 shares, worth $19 million. Jane Street holds larger Bitcoin ETFs, including 14,239,526 shares of BITO, worth $320 million.
