Nasdaq ISE, LLC Withdraws Proposals to List and Trade Options on Ethereum and Bitcoin Products
Nasdaq ISE, LLC filed two notices on Thursday to withdraw its proposals to list and trade options on#Bitcoinand#Ethereumspot ETFs. According to filings on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) website, the exchange withdrew both proposals on Tuesday.
đč No Comments: The Bitcoin ETF proposal was published for comment on August 12, 2024, but there were no public comments.
đč Other Exchanges Withdraw Also: MIAX, MIAX Pearl, and BOX Exchange withdrew their proposals to list and trade options on a Bitcoin spot ETF. Cboe also withdrew its applications but later re-filed, which may indicate the SEC is reviewing the process.
đș Bloomberg Intelligence analyst James Seyffart predicts that Nasdaq and NYSE will resubmit proposals in the near future to list and trade options on spot Bitcoin ETFs.
