According to ChainCatcher, F2pool co-founder Wang Chun posted on X that he has been looking forward to participating in SpaceX's manned polar flight mission for 2 and a half years. The proposal, planning, trajectory design and crew selection of this mission were all completed by the customer.

This trip is a space tourism mission, but it is different from any space tourist before it. For the first time in the history of spaceflight, a private person can rent an entire spacecraft and plan, design and execute a very personal mission with a clear goal.

Earlier, SpaceX announced on Monday that it would carry out the first manned mission around the Earth's poles before the end of this year. The private space flight mission is led by cryptocurrency entrepreneur Wang Chun, and the other three members include a polar explorer, a roboticist and a filmmaker.

The Fram2 mission will last 3-5 days. The crew will observe the Earth's North and South Poles through the dome in a near-polar orbit with an inclination of 90 degrees and an altitude of 425 to 450 kilometers, study the auroras and physical phenomena in the polar regions, and take the first human X-ray in space.
