According to Foresight News, the Layer1 blockchain Canto stopped running yesterday after encountering a consensus issue. Later, during the recovery and upgrade process, due to unforeseen secondary effects caused by the proposer priority issue, the validator paused the network after upgrading to the V8 version. Bharvest is currently building and testing a state-compatible v8.1.0 upgrade, which will automatically handle the problem of setting the proposer priority correctly, and validators will be able to continue to produce blocks on the upgraded and patched V8 Canto. All funds are safe, and users will be able to access all activities as usual when the chain is restored.
