According to Foresight News, Optimism developers have announced a roadmap plan to build an interoperable communication layer between Layer2 chains in its Superchain ecosystem. The communication layer will include a messaging protocol, a Superchain token standard (SuperchainERC20), interoperable fault proofs, and a set of interoperable chains.
Optimism said that the development network of the messaging protocol is preparing for the upcoming release. After the development network phase is completed, the test network of the messaging protocol and token standards will be launched, and finally the main network will be launched. Optimism said that the technical vision is committed not only to solving the interoperability of super chains, but also to solving the interoperability of the broader Ethereum to ensure a consistent user experience in different ecosystems.
