According to TechFlow, on August 12, TechCrunch reported that the prediction market Polymarket announced a partnership with AI search engine Perplexity to display news summaries related to events on its platform. After users click on an event, they will see a news summary based on Perplexity search results and can ask questions through the search box. Polymarket also uses Perplexity's Pages feature to create a column and display it on its Discover page. Perplexity said it will explore more cooperation to enrich content display.
Perplexity will use Polymarket’s data, such as election trends, to generate visualizations through the AI platform Tako. Polymarket founder and CEO Shayne Coplan said the partnership is designed to provide high-quality information. Previously, Polymarket had partnered with Substack to allow the embedding of predictive data and launch a Substack newsletter called Oracle.
