Bitnomial Exchange has officially notified the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) of its certification for XRP US Dollar Futures as a Authorized Contract Market (DCM).

The new futures contracts will be called XRP US Dollar Futures (XUS) and are scheduled to begin trading on August 13, 2024. The XUS contracts will be physically settled and margin-based, reflecting a price of 100,000 XRP.

This self-certification by Bitnomial Exchange to the CFTC indicates that the exchange has independently reviewed and verified that its new futures contracts comply with all applicable regulations and standards. This process allows Bitnomial to offer its new products without prior approval from the CFTC.

Bitnomial claims that it meets the legal and regulatory requirements required for trading XRP US Dollar Futures contracts by doing its own certification.
