According to Odaily Planet Daily, tech billionaire Musk is facing censorship allegations from conservatives in the United States. At least 14 conservative accounts said that X revoked their "Blue V certification" and deprived them of the right to use advanced features.
Some conservatives believe that X's actions are a betrayal by Musk and that he is "secretly banning" his conservative critics. Musk acquired Twitter in 2022 in part because he believed that Twitter unfairly restricted conservative speech. He has since called himself a "free speech advocate."
