According to Cointelegraph, Interpol has issued a red notice for Hex founder Richard Schueler, alleging tax fraud and assault. Finnish authorities are seeking to arrest Schueler.
Schueler is on Europe's most wanted list for allegedly grabbing a 16-year-old victim by the hair, dragging her into a stairwell and knocking her to the ground. A warrant had been issued for his detention three months ago.
Schueler is suspected of tax evasion between June 2, 2020 and April 2, 2024. On September 18, Helsinki police said his income report did not match the tax department's estimates.
Schueler has not yet commented publicly on the Red Notice, but has spoken out about it on social media. He also remains embroiled in a lawsuit with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission over an unregistered cryptocurrency offering.
