According to Foresight News, Unichain released a phased roadmap for the mainnet, which is scheduled to go online on January 6, 2025. Since the launch of the Sepolia testnet in October, 50 million test transactions and 4 million test contract deployments have been completed.
The mainnet will support permissionless fault proofs to ensure that on-chain activities are verifiable, improving security and decentralization. Users can directly bridge funds and experience the application ecosystem, and Rollup-Boost will provide transaction priority sorting and rollback protection.
After the mainnet is launched, new features will continue to be tested, including shortening the block time to 250 milliseconds through Flashblocks technology, and launching the Unichain verification network, inviting the community to participate in node verification testing.
