According to Decrypt, Google CEO Sundar Pichai stated at the New York Times annual Dealbook summit that the era of AI developers utilizing internet data may be coming to an end.
Pichai pointed out that the progress of current LLM models has become more difficult, and the performance of AI models has slowed compared to two years ago. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin and others have also expressed concerns about diminishing returns on AI models.
Pichai believes that 2025 will be an exciting year for AI, and although AI models may reach a bottleneck, he is optimistic about significant breakthroughs in the future.
