According to TechFlow, on December 3, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin published a blog outlining his vision for an ideal crypto wallet, focusing on security and privacy.
In terms of cross-L2 transactions, Vitalik recommends using chain-specific address formats and automatically handling cross-chain exchanges and transfers. In terms of account security, social recovery and multi-signature mechanisms are recommended, using a 2-of-3 protection solution.
In terms of privacy protection, it is recommended to integrate privacy pools and stealth addresses into mainstream wallets. In terms of data storage, it is recommended that wallets evolve into personal data storage tools, using an M-of-N key sharing mechanism.
Vitalik predicts that AI and brain-computer interfaces will change the way wallets interact. AI can understand user intentions through natural language input and provide security protection. It is also recommended to enhance security through light clients and PIR technology to improve DApp security.
