US ambassador leads boycott of Nagasaki atomic bombing ceremony
A boycott led by the US ambassador to Japan drew focus away from the official ceremony marking the 79th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Nagasaki. Rahm Emannuel and several European ambassadors skipped the event over Japanâs exclusion of Israel based on âsecurityâ concerns.
