Nevertheless, POPCAT still has a lot of potential to grow. Its market cap was recently only around $500 million, far less than its biggest dog and frog meme coin competitors.

Speaking of Popcat’s dog rival, the meme coin dogwifhat (WIF), also based on Solana, has gained 10% in the past 24 hours, making it the top gainer of the day, according to CoinMarketCap.
WIF last traded at nearly $1.60, having gained nearly 50% since Monday, making it the leading coin in the rally.
This means that its market value was about $1.6 billion at the end, down nearly 3 times from its high point at the beginning of the year.
This means that assuming market sentiment continues to improve, WIF still has a lot of room for appreciation.
