A mnemonic-free wallet, as the name suggests, is a wallet that does not require a mnemonic. Mnemonic-free key management is the basis for new users to seamlessly enter Web3. This means that users do not need a mnemonic phrase or private key to log in to their accounts in the new environment. This login method is closer to traditional Web2.

From a technical point of view, your wallet is safe even without a mnemonic. If you are not sure, you can search for relevant knowledge yourself.

Prticle is an MPC wallet. MPC stands for Multi-Party Computation. In simple terms, it breaks a private key into multiple pieces and sends the private key fragments to a decentralized network for calculation and encryption. When a private key signature is required, the fragments are pieced together to form a complete private key. The core idea of ​​MPC is to disperse control rights to achieve the purpose of dispersing risks or improving disaster preparedness, effectively avoiding security issues such as single point failure.

In layman's terms, for newcomers who don't have a wallet, they can use familiar Web2 methods to log in, such as email, phone number, Google account, Facebook account, etc.

advantage:

  • No single point of failure: In multi-signature, the private key of each signer can be leaked. With MPC, private keys are never created or kept in one place. Therefore, MPC can protect the keys from being leaked by external or internal personnel.

  • Protocol agnostic: Not all layer 1s support multi-signature smart contract wallets, and those that do can vary widely. For multi-signature providers, supporting new chains requires a lot of time and effort to deploy, and MPC solutions will be able to support it much faster.

  • Flexibility of Operations: Once a wallet is created, the multi-signature rule set is fixed. This means that it does not allow for flexibility such as adding new keys, revoking key shares, and modifying key thresholds. In MPC, the rule set can be modified as long as existing private key shareholders agree to the new approach. As a result, MPC is able to scale across an organization over time, which is something other solutions cannot do.

  • Minimal transaction fees: Each signature on a multisig requires a separate transaction, which can result in high fees. MPC signatures are calculated off-chain, so on-chain transaction fees will be similar to single-signature wallets.

  • Hidden on-chain signatures and off-chain accountability: Because MPC signatures are calculated off-chain, organizations can publicly keep the privacy of signing conditions while maintaining off-chain accountability by recording who signed each transaction on-chain.

  • You will then be guided to select the topic that interests you. You can select multiple topics here, but they must match your NFT attributes to maximize your profits.

  • You need to mint an SBT bound to the current wallet address. This SBT is an NFT that cannot be transferred or traded. The achievements and experience gained by users in ReadON will be recorded on SBT and saved on the chain. This is the user's unique identity in ReadON.

  • Topic tab, this will change according to the user's reading and attention behavior, you can swipe right to switch.

  • For you, this is a personal feed recommended to users, mainly recommending things that users may like and are timely.

  • The popularity attribute makes it easier for users to decide whether to read popular articles.

  • Assets. The assets in the upper left corner show the number of tokens you currently own. Click on it to switch assets and wallets for easy transfer.

  • Avatar. Currently, you can only use the official avatar. After clicking in, you can see personal data, such as the number of NFTs, total reading time, invitation code, daily reading time, etc.

  • The title bar includes popularity statistics, approximate reading time and publishing time, whether the article is a machine translated article, and the contract address of the article on the chain.

  • The timer only records the actual reading time, and the minimum reading time is 30 seconds. Every time a 30-second period is completed, the timer completes a circle and distributes benefits to the user. Don't worry if you don't read the full 30 seconds, this time will continue to be accumulated in the next reading behavior.

  • Personal status: Click the timer to see the values ​​and status of your personal SBT.

  • Actions: including like, dislike or irrelevant. You can also save the article. The feedback here can help the product optimize the recommendation system.

  • If you find it tiring to read in English, you can switch to other languages ​​you are familiar with, such as Chinese.

  • Comments: After reaching a certain level, you can comment on articles and see other people's interactions with your comments. If your comments are excellent and get likes or comments from others, you can also gain extra experience and points.

Assets is a centralized asset service that can only transfer limited NFT or Token types, and will display some off-chain or non-tradable properties. Assets can facilitate transactions within the App, earn and settle income, and also support withdrawals and transfers.

ReadON integrates the Particle wallet service and supports the normal functions of the wallet within the ReadON App, including viewing the balance or amount of assets related to ReadON, viewing transfer records, transferring to centralized wallets or other wallets, receiving transfers from other wallets, etc.

At present, in the public beta stage, an MPC wallet will be automatically generated for the user. The function of importing external wallets will be launched in the future.
