Swing High & Swing Low
Many trading strategies involve looking for the best entry price, or looking for “value.”
These value zones are often referred to as buying cheap (Swing Low) when wanting to buy and then selling high (Swing High).
If we look at one wave of price, also known as a SWING, it consists of two turning points. The price that rises reaches its highest level at the peak, before reversing down. The highest reversal turning point on the chart is defined as a “Swing High,” which is abbreviated as SH.
The price falling reaches a low of TROUGH, before reversing upward. The lowest reversal turning point on the chart is defined as a “Swing Low”, which is abbreviated as SL.
