According to TechFlow, blockchain climate technology company Raad Labs announced on July 30 that it had completed a $2.25 million financing round, led by CoinFund, with participation from Tribe, EV3 and Protagonist.
It is reported that Raad Labs originated from the Montauk Climate incubator and is committed to deploying distributed sensor networks through the Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) model to improve climate data measurement and prediction.
The blockchain-powered network monitors a number of environmental indicators, including weather patterns, greenhouse gas emissions, wildfire risks, and soil degradation.
