ZachXBT: The British hacker Bhangu or the "Sweeney's X account was attacked to promote the SWEENEY token" incident may be the mastermind behind the scenes.
PANews reported on July 31 that according to Cointelegraph, American actress Sydney Sweeney was the victim of a cryptocurrency hack, and independent on-chain detective ZachXBT revealed more details, linking the incident to the convicted British hacker Gurvinder Bhangu. On July 2, Sweeney's X account was hacked, and the hackers pumped and dumped the Solana token SWEENEY. ZachXBT's investigation showed that Bhangu was one of the masterminds behind the attack.
Additionally, on July 8, "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul" actor Bob Odenkirk also experienced a similar hack, where the hackers posted a link to a memecoin on his X account. ZachXBT found that the proceeds from these attacks were transferred to the same Ethereum address, and he called on UK law enforcement to take action quickly. Currently, these related wallets hold $488,000 worth of cryptocurrency.
