Just last weekend, former US President Trump said that if he were to be president again, the first thing he would do would be to fire Gary Gensler, the "big boss" of the US Securities and Exchange Commission. This guy's term is still long, until 2026. Trump boasted: "I have a plan to make the United States the leader in the cryptocurrency industry and the superpower of Bitcoin. We will do what we say!"
He also said: "There must be new rules, but they must be set by people who understand and love you, not those who don't like you."
Trump also plans to make a big move to set up a presidential advisory group for the crypto industry, give the entire framework for stablecoins, and then let law enforcement go.
After this wave of operations, Bitcoin is really exciting. First, it plummeted, and $1,200 was gone in the blink of an eye, falling below the $67,000 mark.
