Odaily Planet Daily News: According to sources from the Financial Times, advisers to the campaign of US Vice President Kamala Harris have been in contact with key figures in the crypto industry to build relationships that could eventually inform the development of a regulatory framework. The report said that they have been communicating with Coinbase, Circle and Ripple Labs in recent days. A source told the Financial Times that Harris hopes to convey the message that the Democratic Party "supports business and supports responsible business." The Harris campaign, Coinbase and Circle did not immediately respond to requests for comment. A Ripple spokesman pointed to recent remarks made by CEO Brad Garlinghouse on the social media platform X. Brad urged Harris to distance himself from "those who talk nonsense," referring to California Congressman Brad Sherman, who has been a harsh critic of cryptocurrencies.
