According to TechFlow, on July 26, Protos reported that Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) will be released from prison on September 29, not August 30 as previously rumored.

On April 30, Changpeng Zhao was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Richard Jones to four months in prison, with a recommendation to be sent to Seatac Prison. It was widely believed that if he had been imprisoned immediately, August 30 would have been his release date. However, CZ's legal team successfully postponed his imprisonment until late May and transferred him to FCI Lompoc II, a low-security federal prison north of Los Angeles.

According to the Bureau of Prisons database, Zhao Changpeng is indeed currently serving his sentence at FCI Lompoc II, and unless circumstances change, his exact release date is September 29.
