According to TechFlow, on July 24, Kraken CEO Dave Ripley announced on social media that Kraken has successfully returned the Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) received from Mt. Gox to Mt. Gox's creditors. Since the trustee selected Kraken as an assistant for the investigation and return of customer funds nearly a decade ago, the process has been hindered by multiple legal proceedings.

Ripley said that although early payments were affected by some frivolous lawsuits, he was grateful to the trustee for keeping the assets safe and holding most of the Bitcoin for a long time, saying that this preservation of value was exemplary and appreciated by all creditors. He also mentioned that Kraken is about to celebrate its 13th anniversary in a few days, emphasizing that these events remind them of their great responsibility and mission to their customers.
