Singapore — 28 June 2024 — TOKEN2049, the world’s largest cryptocurrency event, has announced its first wave of keynote speakers and notable title sponsors as the long-awaited event returns to Singapore. TOKEN2049 will take place at Marina Bay Sands on 18-19 September 2024, just ahead of the 2024 Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend.
TOKEN2049 is expected to welcome 20,000 attendees from more than 150 countries, once again bringing together industry leaders and global cultural icons in Asia's leading economic hub to discuss future trends. Following the record-breaking success of 2023, this year's TOKEN2049 will feature more than 500 side events throughout Singapore from September 16 to 22. Due to unprecedented demand, 90% of the exhibition space has been sold out, and ticket prices for TOKEN2049 will increase from 11:59 pm today (June 28) (GMT+8).
This year’s TOKEN2049 Singapore will bring attendees an unprecedented festival experience. Combining next-generation Web3 technologies with endless entertainment, the colorful activities will be spread across four floors of the conference venue. The exhibition hall will be packed with interactive VR areas and immersive AI art experiences, indoor rock climbing boulders, competition-level squash, cage football and mixed martial arts - these are just some of the many activities to be discovered during the event days. TOKEN2049 is not just an event, but an environment where entertainment and learning coexist. Downtown Singapore will be branded by the TOKEN2049 community, and thousands of attendees will be shuttled across Singapore on TOKEN2049-branded buses and Singapore’s iconic trishaws, ensuring that attendees can participate in the festival week easily and in style.
TOKEN2049’s new startup competition will debut, revealing the next generation of Web3 projects that are just emerging from the crowd. Hundreds of aspiring applicants will be rigorously evaluated, and only the 10 most innovative projects will be selected to showcase their innovations on the global stage.
