- Two organizers of the Brazil-based crypto-Ponzi scheme Forcount have pleaded guilty to fraud.

- Nestor Nunez and Antonia Perez Hernandez pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud, which faces up to 20 years in prison.

- The scheme defrauded Hispanic investors out of $8.4 million from 2017 to 2021 by promising high returns on non-existent crypto transactions.

- The main organizer, Francisley Da Silva, was arrested in 2022.

- Nunez's trial will take place on November 11; the trial date for Hernandez has not yet been set.
