According to TechFlow, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) said in an official statement that the committee is committed to complying with the ballot access deadline to ensure that candidates appear on the ballots in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. The DNC will complete the nomination process for presidential candidates by August 7, Eastern Time, and this time frame also allows for the nomination of vice presidential candidates.

DNC Chairman Harrison stressed that the Democratic Party will adopt a "transparent, expeditious and orderly" process to advance the nomination.
