US Giant Stock Exchange Confirms Launch Date for 5 Ethereum ETFs!
The launch date for US-based spot Ethereum ETFs is becoming clear.
Chicago Options Exchange (CBOE) announced the launch date for 5 spot Ethereum ETFs in its announcement on July 19. In the statement made by the exchange, it was confirmed that spot Ethereum ETFs of 5 companies, including VanEck, Invesco, Fidelity, 21Shares and Franklin Templeton, will be listed on July 23.
“1 Exchange Traded Product (ETP) will be listed on Cboe and will begin to be traded as a new issue on July 23, 2024,” the stock exchange said in its new issuance notification. These notifications are made as a procedural step before product launches.
Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas said he heard firms would “request activity” on Monday. Balchunas and other sources expect the ETFs to begin trading on July 23.
On Wednesday, July 17, the issuing companies all announced how much transaction fees they would charge for the spot Ethereum ETF.
From this point on, if there are no last minute setbacks, the spot Ethereum ETF launch is expected to take place on July 23.
According to CoinGecko data, Ethereum, which has increased by 1% in the last 24 hours, is traded at $ 3,400 at the time of writing.
