The University of California, Berkeley School of Journalism will offer a "Future Technology" course in the fall of 2025, covering emerging technology trends from blockchain to peer-to-peer networks. The course is funded by a $100,000 donation from Mask Network Academy, founded by Suji Yan, and aims to train a new generation of journalists who report on emerging technologies. Suji Yan said that this era does not need more algorithm engineers who make news recommendations, but more citizen journalists who can use code tools and cryptographic weapons.
