According to CoinDesk, the crypto exchange BitForex said it will reopen withdrawal services after a five-month shutdown caused by an investigation, but trading and deposits will continue to be suspended, and customers who have completed KYC verification can withdraw money.

BitForex said it will stop all operations and conduct “comprehensive rectification” after completing the return of user assets.

The exchange has been reportedly out of service since February this year. Users were unable to withdraw funds and access the website, leading to a warning from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
