According to Odaily Planet Daily, 24 Exchange, a startup backed by Point72 Ventures fund, has obtained approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to operate 24X National Exchange.

24X will be the first national securities exchange in the U.S. to allow 23-hour trading per day, Monday through Friday. Trading will be rolled out in two phases, with the first phase opening in the second half of 2025 with trading hours from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern Time.

After upgrading the public data feed of US stock prices, 24X will add night trading from 8 pm Sunday to 7 pm Friday, with a one-hour pause from 7 to 8 pm. CEO Dmitri Galinov said this will alleviate the risk of trading when the market is closed.
