According to Wu Says, analyst Michael Nadeau cited Token Terminal data and pointed out that Aptos spent $494 million in 2024 and only earned $1.38 million in user fees.
This means that Aptos spent $358 for every $1 in fees it captured. $494 million was distributed among 151 validators, with each validator receiving an average of about $3.27 million.
By comparison, Solana spent $7.22 per dollar captured in fees, Ethereum spent $1.14, and Avalanche spent $63 during the same period.
