According to Odaily Planet Daily, JPMorgan recently released a report assessing the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) founded by Trump. The department is led by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy and aims to streamline federal operations and cut wasteful spending.
The report points out that Trump plans to promote an agenda to reduce red tape, including the establishment of a new Department of Government Efficiency, but JPMorgan believes that the department will face challenges.
JPMorgan explains that Congress controls government spending, and DOGE is outside of Congress, requiring a 60-vote majority for any legislative changes.
The report summarizes that in 2025, investors will focus on the key points of Trump 2.0 agenda and downplay certain aspects.
