According to Odaily Planet Daily, Ripple Chief Legal Officer Stuart Alderoty published a post on the X platform to offer advice to the incoming leadership of the U.S. SEC.
Alderoty expressed confidence in the transition team’s ability to resolve cryptocurrency regulatory issues, suggesting ending cryptocurrency lawsuits that are not related to fraud and ensuring that SEC Commissioners Mark Uyeda and Hester Peirce continue to serve.
He stressed the need to work with Congress and financial regulators to develop clear cryptocurrency rules, abandon the 2018 Hinman speech and the 2019 Digital Asset Analysis Framework, increase transparency in the (Freedom of Information Act) process, and restore public trust.
