According to ChainCatcher, former CFTC Chairman Chris Giancarlo posted on X that rumors that he might take over the SEC are not true.
He said he had cleaned up Gary Gensler’s previous “mess” when he was at the CFTC and didn’t want to do it again.
Additionally, rumors that he was interested in a crypto-related position at the Treasury Department are untrue.
